Climaxx Media Ltd: Modern Slavery Compliance Statement
At Climaxx Media Ltd, a UK talent platform for the adult industry that also produces its own content, we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We fully support the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take proactive measures to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present within our adult film production operations or our supply chains.
Our Commitment
As a responsible company in the UK adult entertainment industry, we understand the importance of safeguarding human rights. Climaxx Media is committed to preventing all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking in our adult film production and content creation processes. We maintain zero tolerance for any form of exploitation and expect the same high standards from all individuals and businesses we partner with.
Supply Chain Due Diligence
Our supply chain is small: hosting, payment and email providers, and the crew and producers who work on our own productions. We check that producers are identifiable, registered businesses before they can post castings, we require crew on our own productions to hold a current DBS check, and we remove any supplier or member found to be engaging in or linked to exploitative labour practices.
Awareness
Our director and the people who work on our productions know the signs of coercion, control and trafficking, and the routes for reporting them. Our published safety guidance for members lists the same warning signs and the organisations that can help.
Reporting and Accountability
Anyone connected with our operations, including members, crew and suppliers, can report a concern confidentially to support@climaxxmedia.com without fear of reprisal. Every report is looked into and credible concerns are referred to the authorities.
Continuous Improvement
We review this statement and our practices at least once a year and whenever the law or our operations change.
Our Policies
We maintain the following policies to combat modern slavery and human trafficking:
- Ethical Production Policy: Sets out minimum standards for performer welfare, consent, and working conditions.
- Age Verification Policy: Mandatory ID verification for all performers before any engagement.
- Safeguarding Policy: Procedures for identifying and responding to potential victims of exploitation.
- Confidential Reporting: Any concern about exploitation or trafficking can be raised confidentially with support@climaxxmedia.com.
Due Diligence in Practice
We take the following steps to identify and address modern slavery risk:
- All performers are verified as 18+ with government-issued photo ID before any booking.
- All production companies are vetted before being permitted to post casting calls on our platform.
- Crew on our own productions hold a current DBS check and know the signs of coercion, exploitation and trafficking.
- We maintain records of all ID verification to support any investigations by law enforcement.
Reporting Concerns
Any person who suspects modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with our operations should contact us immediately via our contact page. We will refer any credible concerns to the relevant authorities.
